Ross and Elizabeth Byers of Franklin, celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary.
Mr. Byers and his wife, the former Elizabeth Legan, were married July 10, 1948, in Franklin.
He is retired from Trans World airline.
She is retired from Federal Service.
The couple has one child, David Byers of Franklin.
