A motorcycle ride through the southern part of the county and Brown County will help women facing crisis pregnancies.
Rita’s Ride is at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 11, with the starting point at Harley-Davidson at 3250 W. Market Place, Edinburgh.
All proceeds from the ride will benefit Angelcare, a nonprofit agency in the county. The agency is currently building a home for women in Trafalgar.
Registration for the ride begins at 9 a.m. The ride begins at 10:30 a.m.

Riders will make a stop for a lunch sponsored by City Barbecue at Apple Works in Trafalgar.
The ride will include southern Johnson County and a scenic route through Brown County.
The cost is $20 for one rider and $30 for doubles. Lunch only is $10 a plate.
Angelcare provides pregnant women with resources to assist them with raising their child or to put their baby up for adoption.
