John N. and Joyce W. Elliott of Franklin, will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary.
Mr. Elliott and his wife, the former Joyce Whitehead, were married Aug. 2, 1953, at Trinity Episcopal Church in Bloomington.
He is a retired missionary and United Methodist Church pastor.
She is a retired music teacher and freelance writer.
The couple has two children, Donald Lynn (Elizabeth) Elliott of Denver, Colorado and Stephen Paul (Linda) Elliott of Fishers; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
