<p>Volleyball</p>
<p><strong>Warriors win Ben Davis tourney</strong></p>
<p>Whiteland swept its way to victory at the Ben Davis Invite on Saturday, beating Warren Central and Crispus Attucks in two sets and Terre Haute North in three.</p>
<p>Rhyan Walden pulled out 14 digs against Terre Haute North in the final, helping to set the table for Toni Joyner (10 kills), Sarah Staples (8) and Hannah Williams (6).</p>
<p><strong>Trojans fall in four sets</strong></p>
<p>Facing the No. 3-ranked team in Kentucky, Center Grove was defeated in four sets by Mercy Academy of Louisville on Saturday, 16-25, 25-22, 27-25, 25-5.</p>
<p>Madison Hammill finished with 29 assists and 30 digs. Calista Stafford had 10 kills and Grace Boggess added nine.</p>
<p><strong>Lancers drop three</strong></p>
<p>Edinburgh suffered two-set defeats to Greencastle, Owen Valley and host Brown County in tournament play on Saturday. The Lancers fall to 0-10 overall.</p>
<p><strong>Rebels win three of four</strong></p>
<p>Roncalli defeated Columbus East, Chatard and Westfield but lost to the top-ranked host team at the Yorktown Invitational on Saturday.</p>
<p>Grace Hegwood had 35 kills and 16 digs on the day, while Emma Halter paced the defensive effort with 46 digs.</p>

<p><strong>Rebels top Grizzly Cubs</strong></p>
<p>Marina Babcock scored both goals as Roncalli defeated Franklin, 2-0, on Saturday. </p>
<p><strong>Cougars battle to draw</strong></p>
<p>Greenwood Christian and Speedway played to a 1-1 tie on Saturday. Cassie Bigelow scored the lone goal for GCA, while Ellie Bigelow made 16 saves in goal.</p>

<p><strong>Trojans place eighth</strong></p>
<p>No. 19 Center Grove placed eighth among 18 teams in a stacked field at the Hall of Fame Classic. Lucy Young paced the Trojans with a 75, good for seventh overall. Meg Fosnot and Lauren Pagel finished at 87 and 89, respectively.</p>

<p><strong>Trojans win Jasper tourney</strong></p>
<p>Center Grove swept its three opponents over the weekend during tournament play in Jasper. The Trojans beat Avon, 5-0, and added 4-1 victories over Castle and Jasper.</p>
