Local cancer patients and survivors can find help coping with the disease with support groups and events.
Here is a look at what is offered:
Cancer Support Group
When: 6-8 p.m. first Thursday every month
Where: Community Regional Cancer Center, 1440 E. County Line Road, Indianapolis.
Who can come: Open to cancer patients either, currently in treatment or having completed treatment.
What: Education, support and fellowship.

Truck Show
When: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today
Where: Community Cancer Center South, 1440 E. County Line Road, Indianapolis.
What: A day of celebration for all cancer patients and their families with vendors, food, music, art therapy, bra fittings and door prizes
