A railroad crossing in the Edinburgh area will close for part of the day today for needed maintenance.
The crossing at County Road 350 S. between U.S. 31 and County Road 600 E., at the Louisville/Indiana crossing will be closed starting at 8 a.m. today. The crossing should reopen by 6 p.m. today.
Railroad workers will be performing crossing maintenance including laying new rails.
