Freddy Clow, 83, of Greenwood, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2018. He was born to Edward and Wilma Clow on May 20, 1935 in Centralia, Illinois.

Freddy was a veteran of the United States Navy. He served in the Korean War. He worked as a mechanic for Eli Lilly for many years. Freddy was very active in the Johnson County community. He was a 4H leader in Johnson County. He was on the Johnson County Fair Board. Freddy was a 50-year Mason at Acton Masonic Pleasant Lodge #134. He was of the 32nd Degree at the Scottish Rite. Freddy was a member of the Warrior’s Hope. He attended Rocklane Church. He was a member there for many years. Freddy was the president of Indiana Hoosier Great Dane Club. Freddy loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Freddy is survived by his four children, Jim Clow, Fred Clow, Jill Clow Means, and Joshua Clow; his two brothers, Jack and Ed Clow; six grandchildren, Ben Clow, Matt Clow, Brittney Mack, Sara Banholzer, Lauren Johnson, and Izabella Clow; and two great-grandchildren, Alyssa Clow and Isaiah Banholzer.

Freddy was preceded in death by his wife, Laura (Sketters) Clow, and his parents, Edward and Wilma Clow.

A celebration of life service will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, October 15, 2018, at Rocklane Church, 4430 Rocklane Rd., Greenwood, IN 46143. Friends and family may gather from 11 a.m. to time of service at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made in Freddy’s honor to the Disabled American Veteran’s Charity, 575 N. Pennsylvania St. Room 324, Indianapolis, IN 46204.
