Boys soccer

Boha commits to IU

Luke Boha, a senior midfielder on a Center Grove team ranked among the top teams in the state all season, verbally committed to play at Indiana University beginning next season.

The Hoosiers are currently ranked fourth nationally in the United Soccer Coaches poll. Boha, who finished this season with two goals and nine assists, plans to major in biology and chemistry.

Franklin College

Women’s soccer beats rain, Manchester

Jalynn Gorman, Emma Foley and Maddie Fleet scored goals as Franklin College earned a 3-1 victory at Manchester on Wednesday. Lexi Short made four saves for the Grizzlies (6-6-1, 3-1 HCAC).

Volleyball swept by Rose-Hulman

Franklin College fell to Rose-Hulman on Wednesday, 25-16, 25-21, 25-18. Abby Sewell had 11 kills and 10 digs in defeat for the Grizzlies.

Men’s soccer takes shutout loss

Franklin College gave up an early goal and never recovered in a 4-0 defeat against Manchester on Wednesday.
