Dakota W. Scott, 16, of Whiteland, passed away Friday, October 12, 2018. He was born to Michael and Angela Scott on August 7, 2002 in Franklin.
</p>
<p>
Dakota was a freshman at Whiteland Community High School. Dakota was very active and loved sports. He was on the high school wrestling and football team. Dakota enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He was the jokester of the group. Dakota loved putting a smile on people’s face.
</p>
<p>
Dakota is survived by his parents, Michael and Angela Scott of Whiteland; his three sisters, Anastasia (Gaje) Holtsclaw of Greenwood, Skye Scott of Greenwood and Jasmine Scott of Whiteland; his three brothers, Ryan, Hunter, and Jesse Scott all of Whiteland; he is also survived by his grandpa, Bill Scott of Whiteland and grandmother, Martha Knox of Whiteland.

A visitation will be Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Jessen Funeral Home, Whiteland Chapel, 729 N. U.S. Hwy 31, Whiteland, IN 46184. A service will be Friday, October 19, 2018 at 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood. Arrangements entrusted to Jessen Funeral Home, Whiteland Chapel.
