Women’s tennis advances to semis
Holyn Eldridge and Alexa Schofner combined for a doubles victory and then added singles wins to clinch Franklin College’s 5-0 win over Earlham in the first round of the HCAC tournament Friday. The Grizzlies (8-2) will play Transylvania in a semifinal today.
Volleyball earns big victory
Abby Sewell had a career-best 19 kills to lead Franklin College to an upset of Bluffton on Friday night, 26-24, 27-25, 21-25, 25-23. Mackenzie Waldran added a career-high 53 assists for the Grizzlies (10-15, 3-4 HCAC).
