Beverly Jo (Duncan) Irwin, 70, passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018 in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Franklin.
</p>
<p>
She was born on December 15, 1947 in Franklin, Indiana to Melvin Gordon and Ruby Mae (Mitchell) Duncan. Beverly is survived by her loving daughter, Christine Renee (Nat) Koenig of Zionsville; grandchildren, Olivia and Mitchel; two brothers, Jerry A. (Edith) Duncan of Franklin and Michael Duncan of Nineveh and two sisters, Sandra Guerine of Illinois and Pamela (Rod) Taylor of Franklin and many numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in passing by her parents and brother, Larry Duncan, brother-in-law, Deon Guerine and sister-in-law, Becky Duncan.
</p>
<p>
Bev was a 1966 graduate of Franklin Community High School.
</p>
<p>
She was employed by Camp Atterbury as a Cashier and presently was working for the Johnson County Recorder’s Office in Franklin.
</p>
<p>
She attended Shiloh Community Church where she sang in the choir with Chrissy. She was also a member of the Franklin American Legion Women’s Auxiliary No. 205 where she served as President in 2010. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, loved to travel and was eager to help friends and family when she could.
</p>
<p>
A celebration of Bev’s life will be held on Saturday, October 27, at 1:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin, with calling from 11:00 a.m. to time of service.
</p>
<p>
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, Finance Department, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, New York 10016, and/or to the College Fund for Olivia and Mitchel, her grandchildren.
</p>
