Franklin Animal Clinic, parking lot: An employee reported at 2:26 p.m. Monday that someone broke into her vehicle and stole her purse.

Any Time Fitness, parking lot, 1168 N. Main St: Two women reported at 1:17 p.m. Monday that their vehicles were broken into and their purses were stolen.

Crazy 8, 1251 N. U.S. 31: Police responded at 8:28 p.m. Monday to a report of theft.

First block of Hidden Bay: Police responded at 11:14 a.m. Monday to a report of a stolen vehicle.

500 block of Polk Street: Police responded at 7:41 a.m. Monday to a report of $2,500 in tools stolen from a vehicle.

Theft

4300 block of W. County Line Road, Greenwood: A woman reported at 1:10 a.m. Saturday that someone stole her car.

Battery

800 block of Rustic Lane, Greenwood: A woman reported at 5:40 p.m. Friday that her husband pushed her on a couch and put his hands around her neck. He was arrested.

The following people recently were arrested and booked into the Johnson County jail:

Evonne Nicole Lentz, 41, 6179 Beech Tree Road, Nineveh; arrested on a charge of violation of probation; held without bond.

Taneice M. Mooney, 28, 27 S. Chester Ave., Indianapolis; arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court; held without bond.

Tamera Lynn Derish, 37, 2109 Red Fern Drive, Indianapolis; arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court; held on $3,000 bond.

Keith Yokley, 29, 1249 McDougal St., Indianapolis; arrested on a charge of reckless possession of paraphernalia; held on $1,000 bond.

Renee Angelique Filkins, 46, 521 Park Drive, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana/hashish; released on $1,000 bond.

Chelsea Marie Santos, 26, 17 Watson Drive, Trafalgar; arrested on a charge of contempt of court; released on $250 bond.
