Albert Denzil “Denny” Hendershot, Jr., 61 of Bargersville passed away on Sunday, December 16th, 2018 in Mohave County, Arizona.
He was born on August 10th, 1957 in Connersville, Indiana to Albert Denzil Hendershot, Sr. and Gail (Land) Hendershot. They both survive in Nashville, Indiana.
Denny married his wife, Mary Kathleen “Sis” (Dewitt) Hendershot on January 9th, 1982. She lovingly survives. Also surviving are three sons, Craig (Jess) Smith of Nashville; Charles (Amanda) Hendershot of Bargersville; and Chris (Kenzie) Hendershot of Dana, Indiana; grandchildren, Drew, Chloe, Cash, Garrett, Willow, Briar and Callon Albert. Other survivors include Denny’s brother and sisters, Cindy Hendershot, Michael (Linda) Hendershot and Mary (Doug) Garvin and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in passing by his sister, Cathy Walters.
Denny was a 1975 graduate of Franklin Community High School.
Denny was the owner of Hendershot Plumbing in Bargersville for over twenty years. Prior to owning his own business, he worked for Dewitt Plumbing in Franklin.
He enjoyed attending auctions, fishing and was a collector. He loved to drive and travel. Denny’s greatest joy was spending time with family and especially with his grandchildren.
Pastor Bob England will conduct a celebration of Denny’s life on Saturday, December 22nd at 10:00 a.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Visitation will be Friday, December 21st from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
