Local residents who need help paying their energy bills may qualify for assistance.
Human Services, Inc. is accepting mail-in applications for the 2018-2019 Energy Assistance Program for the winter season. The program is available to income eligible households.
Households that have utilities included in the rent may also be eligible.
Monthly gross income guidelines by number of people in the home are:
- One:Â $1,978
- Two: $2,586
- Three: $3,195
- Four: $3,803
- Five: $4,412
- Six:$5,020
- Seven: $5,134
- Eight:$5,298.
Funds are distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Households with more than eight people should contact Human Services.
