Did you make a New Year’s resolution to lose weight, eat better, read more or give back?

If so, Johnson County has a class or event that will help you keep the resolution you made to start the new year.

Do you want to get more crafty? Here are some options:

FRANKLIN CHIPMATES WOODCARVING CLUB, 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursdays, Franklin Cultural Arts and Recreation Center, 396 Branigin Blvd. Beginners and experienced craftspeople welcome.

Do you want to get fit? Try Rock Steady Boxing or Yoga.

ROCK STEADY BOXING, 9:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, Community and Event Center at Compass Park, 690 State St., Franklin. The $45 one-time fee includes assessment, gym bag, hand wraps, boxing gloves and jump rope.
