Dan and Glenda Carter of Franklin are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip to San Antonio, Texas.
Mr. Carter and his wife, the former Glenda Royer, were married Dec. 28, 1968 at United Methodist Church in Wolcott.
He is retired from farming, business management and Franklin Community High School.
She is a retired teacher from Franklin Community and Clark-Pleasant schools.
The couple has three daughters, Stephanie Csaszar, Chandra Beers and Kresta Richards; 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
