Marshall and Judith Mitchell of Franklin celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary with a dinner.
Mr. Mitchell and his wife, the former Judith Dunigan, were married Dec. 27, 1963 at Grace United Methodist Church in Franklin.
He is retired from the National Park Service.
She is a homemaker.
The couple has one son, Mark A. Mitchell of Batavia, Ohio.
