A New York man was arrested after a local woman told police that he touched her inappropriately.
Robert John Salvagin Wojciechowski, 25, 25 Taylor St., Apt. A, Hornell, New York, was arrested on a charge of sexual battery.
A woman told a Johnson County sheriff’s deputy that in August, Wojciechowski had made multiple attempts to have sex with her, according to a probable cause affidavit.
She told police that Wojciechowski grabbed her and began kissing her and then made her touch him inappropriately. He also touched her inappropriately. The woman told police she asked Wojciechowski to stop multiple times, according to the affidavit.
The criminal charge was filed earlier this month and Wojciechowski was recently arrested.
He was taken to the Johnson County jail, where he was released on $1,000 bond.
