A pair of Center Grove High School choirs took home top finishes over the weekend at a national show choir competition.
The Sound System choir ranked third in the mixed division, while the Debtones choir placed second in the women’s division at Show Choir Nationals, which brought together some of the best choirs in the country from March 21 to 23 at the Gaylord Opryland Complex & Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tennessee.
Kiersten White was named Outstanding Female Performer in the women’s division, Ashlyn Glover was named outstanding female performer in the mixed division and Romero Gee was named outstanding male performer in the mixed division.
Both choirs will perform at the annual Spring Spectacular at Center Grove High School from May 9 to 11.
