Franklin man robbed at gun point in his garage

<p>Franklin police are investigating after a man was robbed with a gun in his Franklin garage.</p><p>A man reported at 6:50 p.m. Sunday that an acquaintance came to his home in the 300 block of Province Street to look at his record collection, according to a report from the Franklin Police Department.</p><p>The men chatted for a few minutes about the record collection when the acquaintance pulled out a gun, pointed it at the man’s head and demanded money and medication, according to the report.</p><p>The acquaintance reached into the man’s pockets and the man attempted to push the acquaintance’s arm away from his head. In the struggle, the man was hit in the face. The acquaintance reached into the man’s pocket, took some items and left, the report said.</p><p>The man was checked out by medics at the scene, according to the report.</p><p>The acquaintance stole about $300, a bottle of prescription medication and a cell phone, the report said.</p>
