Local VFW hosting a turkey shoot

<p>A local VFW is hosting a turkey shoot.</p><p>Greenwood VFW Post 5864 will host a turkey shoot at 1 p.m. Saturday at The Range, 2764 N. County Road 350 W., Shelbyville.</p><p>Registration for the event will begin at noon. The cost is $25 for 10 shots.</p><p>In addition, there will be two money shoots for $50 each and the third Money Shoot will be for $100. The cost for these tickets is $5 each or five for $20. There will be two or three meat shoots at $5 each, which will be half-way through the event.</p><p>Near the conclusion of the event, there will be a 50 / 50 Shoot for $5.</p><p>Pre-sale tickets for the events are available at the bar or from one of the committee members. Volunteers are welcome to help with the event and can help by calling 317-888-2488. Food and beverages will be for sale.</p>
