<p>ROCK THE BLOCK, 8:30 a.m. April 27, Center Grove High School, 2717 S. Morgantown Road, Greenwood. Benefits 17 local causes. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. $35.</p><p>Families and runners and walks can lace up their running shoes to help support 17 causes in the county.</p><p>The fourth annual Rock the Block event is this weekend.</p><p>Rock the Block is a 10K (timed) run, 5K walk/run and a free kids run at Center Grove High School. The event includes scenic courses, food, music, vendors, awards and giveaways.</p><p>More than 1,500 participants and hundreds of spectators and volunteers participated in 2018, when more than $29,000 was raised for Center Grove and Johnson County nonprofit organizations. In total, the first three events have raised more than $75,000.</p><p>The running and walking routes include Morgantown, Smokey and Whiteland Roads and wind through several Center Grove area subdivisions south of the high school.</p>
