Shape your summer landscape at gardening events

Green thumbs who want to plan their gardens or see what the trends are can attend several sales and one show this weekend.

Two clubs are having their annual plant sales where you can pick up new plants for your yard. The Indiana Daylily-Iris Society will be showing off some of their best work.

what is planned:CULTIVATING GARDEN CLUB PLANT SALE, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 18, 7125 S. Meridian St., Indianapolis. Sun and shade perennials, herbs, ground covers and more.

PLANT SALE, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 18, Trafalgar United Methodist Church, behind the Trafalgar library. Vegetable starts, potted annual flowers and more. Free seeds while supplies last. Presented by Trafalgar Country Gardeners. Proceeds help fund community projects, including Kids Garden Camp and public programs. Information: 317-736-9167

INDIANA DAYLILY-IRIS SOCIETY PLANT SHOW, 1 to 4 p.m. May 18, at Sullivan Hardware & Garden, 6955 N. Keystone Ave., Indianapolis. Free.
