John and Betty Jackson of Greenwood are celebrating 50 years of marriage and will be enjoying a quiet dinner with their family.
Mr. Jackson and his wife, the former Betty Kitchens were married on July 26, 1969 in Indianapolis.
He was employed at INDOT and she was employed at AT&T they are both retired.
The couple have two children; Susan (Jackson) Bott and John (Fred) Jackson and two grandchildren.
