This weekend you can learn about life in 19th-century Johnson County during a special history event.
Visitors can check out Civil War re-enactors, demonstrations of traditional crafts and take part in other hands-on activities.
The event will be 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 28 at the museum, 135 N. Main St., Franklin.
Activities are appropriate for visitors of all ages and are free of charge.
