In retrospect, it was another busy summer for the Johnson County Garden Club. Special thanks to our various hosts, as we visited various gardens and nurseries throughout the season. These include: Court’s Yard and Greenhouse, Mel Smith and Queen Anne’s Farmhouse, Indiana Grown Initiative with Heather Taulman, Chef Brickman and Marty Mascher, Recipes from the Garden with Danielle Dennis, Grissom Gardens, Whimsey and Blooms, and Toney Gardens. Happy gardening to all.

A big thanks for all who helped make the Harvest Walk on Oct. 6 successful. Grace United Methodist Church hosted with representatives and pastors from many churches plus families and individuals in the community participating walking the 3-mile course. The Franklin police and fire department supported with their presence. Many volunteers helped make the event a fun time. Proceeds fight hunger in our community and worldwide! Thank you.
