Ivy Tech Foundation Board appoints new officers
Michael M. Harmless has been named chair of the Ivy Tech Foundation Board of Directors.
He has served on the Ivy Tech Foundation Board since 2006. He previously served on the Ivy Tech Community College State Board of Trustees from 2004 to 2006.
The Foundation Board also appointed Maria Quintana as vice-chair, Patrick R. Ralston as treasurer and Terry Bowen as secretary.
Emergency nurses finish near
top in national competition
Franciscan Health Indianapolis nurses went up against 16 other teams from across the country and placed third in the competition at the Emergency Nurses Association annual convention in Texas.
The teams were presented with simulated emergency department patients and judged on their assessment and intervention skills.
Franciscan Health surgeon bestowed Healing Hands Award
Don King, MD, is the winner of the Healing Hands Award.
This award is given to doctors in our network who go above and beyond and exemplify Franciscan values.
King is a general surgeon with Franciscan Physician Network Indy Southside Surgical and has been on staff since 1993.
