Indy man arrested for dealing meth, pills

An Indianapolis man has been arrested and charged with dealing meth and pills in Greenwood.

Ronald Wayne Barnett, 34, 3133 St. Paul St., was arrested and charged with dealing in methamphetamine and dealing in a Schedule IV substance.

Dealing methamphetamine is a Level 4 Felony, while the other dealing charge is a Level 6 Felony. He faces 18.5 years in prison if convicted on both charges and ordered to serve them separately.

Police gathered evidence that Barnett sold about 3.5 grams of methamphetamine and about 3.5 grams of prescription pills at a Greenwood business over the summer.

Charges were filed in October, and he was arrested this week and taken to the Johnson County jail, where he is held on $15,600 bond.
