<p>John “Tom” and Geraldine “Gerry” DeBrular of Compass Park Masonic Home, formerly from Cromwell, recently celebrated 72 years of marriage with their family.</p>
<p>The couple were married on Nov. 7, 1947 at the Church of God in Columbia City.</p>
<p>John was raised as a child at the Masonic Home, graduated and joined the Navy, then married and returned to Franklin in later years.</p>
<p>Both have retired, John from a coin-operated vending business and Geraldine was a secretary at the Indiana State Police district 21.</p>
<p>The couple have one daughter, Debra (Roger) Cosbey in Summerville, South Carolina and granddaughter Allison (Brock) Combs in Fishers.</p>
