John “Tom” and Geraldine “Gerry” DeBrular of Compass Park Masonic Home, formerly from Cromwell, recently celebrated 72 years of marriage with their family.
The couple were married on Nov. 7, 1947 at the Church of God in Columbia City.
John was raised as a child at the Masonic Home, graduated and joined the Navy, then married and returned to Franklin in later years.
Both have retired, John from a coin-operated vending business and Geraldine was a secretary at the Indiana State Police district 21.
The couple have one daughter, Debra (Roger) Cosbey in Summerville, South Carolina and granddaughter Allison (Brock) Combs in Fishers.
