Cinemark Greenwood Corner celebrated its re-opening on Dec. 11.

The cinema is located at 1848 S. Stop 13, Indianapolis.

Church celebrates grand opening of new campus

The church is located on East Pleasant Run Parkway Drive, just north of Raymond Street in Indianapolis.

The location will be led by Campus Pastor Chris Clay, who will work directly with Lead Pastor Danny Anderson and Emmanuel’s staff leadership team.

Greenwood auto dealer wins national recognition

Tom Miller, of Tom O’Brien Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, has been named one of 49 nationwide nominees for the 2020 TIME Dealer of the Year Award, for his support to the community.

The award is presented by Ally Financial. As a nominee, Tom will receive $1,000 from Ally to contribute to the charity of his choice.

Farm Credit Mid-America helps farms to food banks

More than 280 volunteers from Farm Credit Mid-America helped obtain more than 17,500 pounds of fruit and produce from four farms, or prepared boxes for distribution at more than a dozen distribution centers to support Farms to Food Banks programs.

Farms to Food Banks directs surplus and donated agriculture products from farmers to food banks. The program partners with agencies to help get food on people’s tables using volunteers to harvest farmer-grown produce and food banks to process and distribute the produce to families in need.

Local bank announces new senior vice-president

Mutual Savings Bank has promoted Kellie Gordon to Senior Vice President of Information Technology and Deposit Services. Gordon will continue working at the main branch location at 80 E. Jefferson St. in Franklin.

Kellie’s responsibilities will continue to oversee the duties related to information security, network administrator, deposit services, cyber security and information technology.

Kroger cuts ribbon on multi-million dollar project

Kroger celebrated the completion of a multi-million-dollar investment in Johnson County. A ribbon-cutting, in Greenwood marked the end of a significant renovation project.

Changes at 2200 Independence Drive will be evident in the array of upgrades inside the store. Kroger invested more than 2 million dollars to enhance the look and the service of the store.
