A local VFW is selling bricks to help fund their new building. Bricks are available for anyone, a member of the military, a veteran, deceased veteran, businessmen or women and the public.
Bricks will be laid on four walk-ways leading to the flag poles. The walk-ways will be approximately 4 feet wide. The bricks will be about 12 to 18 inches off the ground and go up to about 5 or 6 feet. The area will be called “In Memoriam." The bricks will be placed against the outside wall.
Profits from the sale of the bricks will go toward expenses of the new Greenwood VFW Post 5864 at 500 Commerce Parkway W. Drive, Greenwood.
