Youth agency looking for county’s most talented kids

The area’s most talented youngsters are invited to come show off their skills and help support youth and their families at the same time.

Youth Connections will host its second Johnson County Kids Got Talent competition, looking for individuals or groups skilled in a variety of categories, including singing, dancing, comedy and various novelty acts.

Auditions for the show will be held on Jan. 21, 22 and 23 at Franklin Community High School. Those chosen will take part in the main competition, scheduled for Feb. 7, also at the high school. Contestants are separated into two age groups: ages 5 to 11 and 12 to 17.

Participants must be a Johnson County resident. Acts must be registered by January 10 and a nonrefundable $20 registration fee per act is required at registration.

Registration is now open. To secure an audition slot contact, go to www.youthconnections.org or call 317-738-3273. Sponsorships are available.

The event benefits Youth Connections, a Franklin-based nonprofit dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for youth and their family members.
