Men’s basketball wins ninth straight
A late 3-pointer from Sam Gutierrez helped Franklin College pull out a 68-66 home win over Rose-Hulman on Wednesday night, its ninth consecutive victory.
Borden Kennedy had 16 points and Gutierrez 14 for the Grizzlies (12-4, 8-1 HCAC).
Defense lifts women’s basketball to win
Franklin College forced 29 turnovers on its way to a 68-50 victory at Rose-Hulman on Wednesday evening.
The Grizzlies (10-5, 6-3 HCAC), who started the game on a 19-0 run, got 16 points from Bayleigh Walker and 11 from Bayleigh Torrance.
