The Gathering Place at Community Church of Greenwood is kicking off a fundraising event for one of their ministry partners, The Boaz Project, from 7 a.m. to 2:50 p.m. on Jan. 25.
Fitness classes will launch their new sessions and all proceeds from those classes will go directly to The Boaz Project.
The Boaz Project is an locally based orphan care program that operates in India, Russia, and Kenya. They provide shelter, food, and medical assistance to children in need as well as many other programs.
The Gathering Place is located at 1495 W. Main St., Greenwood.
