James and Phyllis (Smith) Thomas have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary.
The couple were married on January 22, 1955 in Jeffersonville.
James is a retired truck driver and CDL examiner for the state of Indiana and Phyllis is a retired nurse.
The couple have two children Jim Thomas (fiance Karen Ray) and Tim Thomas (Lori) both of Franklin, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
