Hearts & Darts – February 3

Hearts

On Dec. 23 around noon, I was involved in a 2-car collision in Franklin in front of Big Lots & Tractor Supply Company. The accident happened so fast, that it wasn’t until the actual police report that I knew it was my fault. That said, I would like to thank all of the first responders: The Franklin Fire Department, the officer that took the accident report, the ambulance team, and the unknown gentleman who pulled over to see if I was ok and finally the witness that stayed by the young girl in the other car. All of you were wonderful during that emotional time. You all were blessings to me and I’m sure the other driver. This was a very first accident that I have ever been in, let alone be responsible for.

To the young girl driving the other car, because I couldn’t do it in person, I can only apologize and pray that you made a speedy recovery!

Christine Garrett, Greenwood

A special thank you to the Indian Creek FFA, area churches and organizations, Boy Scout Troop 218, Texas Roadhouse, sponsors, volunteers, family and friends. Without you, the Carrie Clayburn Memorial Dinner would not have been the success that it was. It’s helpful to know that ICHS students will benefit from the scholarship and that Carrie will be remembered.

God Bless, John and Sheila Heidenreich, Chris, Jenny, Tegan, Liam and Owen Thompson
