There will be a benefit supper, auction and gospel concert for Franklin Community Middle School teacher Karon Cheek on Saturday, Feb. 29, at the Franklin Church of the Nazarene, 140 W. Branigin Road, Franklin.
Cheek, an English teacher at the middle school and a lifelong resident of Franklin, is fighting cancer. All proceeds will be used to help with her medical expenses.
4 to 5:30 p.m.: Spaghetti supper is $8 and includes a drink; dessert sold separately.
5 p.m.: Auction begins

7 p.m.: Gospel concert. A special love offering will be taken during the service. Singers include: Dave and Pam Garner; Rhonda Ankney; Scott and Mandi Cook; Trena Palmer and family; Dave and Eva Cook; Greg Fox and family.
