Residents can recycle the following items: cardboard, paper, glass bottles and jars, plastic bottles and jugs and metal cans, all items need to be clean and dry.
The Johnson County Recycling Service center is located at 900 Arvin Road in Franklin.
Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and the second and fourth Saturdays of each month from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
