<p><strong>Franklin</strong></p><p><strong>Criminal mischief</strong></p><p>300 Barnigin Blvd., Province Park: A police officer reported at 12:17 p.m. Tuesday that someone had spray painted on the wall of the Creekside shelter house.</p><p><strong>Property-damage accident</strong></p><p>4:26 p.m. Tuesday – State Road 44 and Milford Drive</p><p><strong>Theft</strong></p><p>2155 McClain Drive, Overton Industries: Plant manager reported at 8:43 p.m. Tuesday that someone cut off their catalytic converter from one of the work trucks.</p><p><strong>Greenwood</strong></p><p>Burglary </p><p>200 block of Broadway St.: Reported at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday a burglary occurred.</p><p><strong>Fraud</strong></p><p>600 block of Morgan Way: Someone reported at 1:46 p.m. Wednesday that identity theft had occurred.</p><p><strong>Thefts</strong></p><p><ul><li>1140 N. State Road 135, Cirilla’s: Reported at 7:58 p.m. Wednesday that shoplifting had occurred.</li><li>800 Commerce Parkway, Carrier Company: Reported at 11:29 a.m. Wednesday that up to 10 AC units were missing from their facility.</li><li>1000 block of Coventry Court: Reported at 9 a.m. Wednesday that a theft from a vehicle occurred.</li></ul></p><p><strong>The following people were recently arrested and booked into the Johnson County jail:</strong></p><p>Elana M. Hudson, 31, 4916 Winthrop Ave., Indianapolis; arrested on a charge of probation violation; held without bond.</p><p>Jaysun A. Bergstresser, 30, 7011 Effingham Square, Indianapolis; arrested on a charge of probation violation; held without bond.</p><p>Melissa L. Williams, 40, 642 Rylan Circle, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of probation violation; held without bond.</p><p>Elaine Ellen Lajouness, 55, 8610 Lagrotte Drive, Indianapolis; arrested on charges of possession of a handgun without a license and possession of marijuana/hashish; held on $2,000 bond.</p><p>Robert Eugene Thomas IV, 24, 435 St. Paul St., Indianapolis; arrested on a  charge of domestic battery; released on $3,250 bond. </p><p>Cara Lee Kappel, 40, 8805 S. Madison Ave., Indianapolis; arrested on charges of restricted use of a drug injection device, possession of methamphetamine, controlled substance schedule I, II, III, IV, V, paraphernalia, driving while suspended with prior conviction and visiting a common nuisance-alcohol; held on $7,400 bond.</p><p>John Logan Cowling, 58, 8022 McFarland Road, Indianapolis; arrested on a charge of battery; released on $250 bond.</p><p>James R.
