Softball splits pair in Florida
Franklin College continued its early-season stretch in Florida with a pair of games Monday, losing a 1-0 battle with Muskingum before bouncing back with an 8-0 rout of Illinois College.
Alisha Burch took the loss in the opener for the Grizzlies (4-2) despite yielding just three hits while striking out five. In the nightcap, Danielle Wyse whiffed nine while spinning a one-hit shutout. Cassie Hoffman and Annah Elliott each knocked in a pair of runs.
