Greenwood police are asking for the public’s help to find a man involved in an armed robbery last month.

Police responded to an armed robbery just after 2 a.m. Feb. 16 at the Village Pantry located at 899 E. Main St. in Greenwood.

The suspect, who wore a face mask during the robbery, held a cashier at gunpoint and hit him in the back of the head with the handgun three times, according to a Greenwood Police Department report. The suspect told the cashier to empty the cash register, and if he moves, he’s dead, the report said.
