Greenwood man arrested on felony dealing charges

A Greenwood man was arrested for dealing meth and heroin after deputies searched his home.

Vincent R. Hoff, 40, 1408 Colony Park Drive, was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, a Level 4 felony, and possession of heroin with intent to distribute, a Level 2 felony. Hoff faces up to 42 years in prison if convicted on both charges and ordered to serve separate sentences.

The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office completed a search warrant of Hoff’s home as part of a narcotics investigation on March 11. During the search, detectives found a black backpack. Inside it, they found a clear baggie that contained meth, and an orange bottle with Fentanyl inside, according to a sheriff’s office news release.

Three other people arrived at Hoff’s home during the search. Deputies arrested them for possession of marijuana and cocaine, and possession of an injection device.

Hoff was taken to the Johnson County jail, where he is held on $73,200 bond.
