Man faces felony dealing charges

An Indianapolis man faces three high-level felonies for dealing controlled substances in Greenwood.

Tavore Chiffon Milam, 40, is charged with three counts of dealing methamphetamine — one a Level 2, and two a Level 3. He could face up to 62 years in prison if convicted on all counts and ordered to serve separate sentences.

Franklin Police Department detectives gathered evidence that Milam dealt drugs on three separate occasions in September and October, according to a probable cause affidavit filed Feb. 18 in Johnson County Circuit Court.

Milam, 3012 El Lago N. Drive, sold $200 to $300 worth of meth and heroin during each of the deals.

A warrant was filed on Feb. 19 for Milam’s arrest. He was booked into the Johnson County jail on Friday. He is held on $186,000 bond.
