Pam J. Branham, age 59, passed away all too soon on Monday morning, May 11, 2020 at her home in Brown County.

She was born October 24, 1960 in Franklin, to her parents, the late Leslie H. and Nina M. (Mattox) Branham. Pam was a 1978 graduate of Brown County High School and went on to receive a degree in Dental Assisting from Aristotle College in Greenwood.

She kept a very active life and will be remembered by many for working at Apple Works, McDonald’s Restaurant and at Indian Creek High School, all in Trafalgar. Prior to that, she worked for over 20 years at Amos Plastics in Edinburgh. Pam was a loyal and devoted 45 year member of the Locust Grove Pentecostal Church in Brown County, where she taught Sunday School for over 30 years.

Pam enjoyed the outdoors by tending to her vegetable and flower gardens, squirrel and deer hunting, and caring for her dogs, Penny and Roscoe. She also enjoyed reading her Bible and loved spending time with her family, especially her church family.

Pam is survived by her siblings, Janice M. (Bill) Whetstine of Bargersville, Terresa L. Branham of Franklin, Mark S. Branham of Brown County and James L. Branham of Honolulu, HI; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Jackie Gouty.

The Rev. Jay Griffie will conduct a private funeral service on Saturday at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. A public visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday with COVID-19 restrictions limiting visitation to 25 friends and family at a time. Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown.
