Carl Michael Ginder 67 of Greenwood, IN passed away Sunday, May 10, 2020 at Franciscan Hospice House in Indianapolis, IN. He was born December 23, 1952 in Indianapolis, IN to Carl Martin Ginder and Dolores Mary (Gramman) Ginder.

He was a member of Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was an avid military supporter who participated often with the Indy Honor Flight. He was a diehard sports fan, especially of the Cincinnati Reds, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and the Indiana Hoosiers. He also loved playing cards and trivia.

Survivors include his son Martin E. Ginder and his wife Brittany (Wood) Ginder of Greenwood, IN, two grandchildren Addison and Carrie Ginder, his lifelong best friend Ben McFarland of Indianapolis, IN., sisters, Cheryl Zeis (Charles) of Indianapolis, IN, Darlene Evans (Eric Cheyfitz) of Ithaca, NY, Kimberly Reinhart (Chris) of Indianapolis, IN, brothers Donavan Ginder (Theresa) of Indianapolis, IN and Thomas Ginder (Cathy) of Whiteland, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Father Todd Goodson will conduct a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday May 20, 2020 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church 335 South Meridian Street Greenwood, IN. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN with COVID 19 restrictions of social distance will be required. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, IN.
