Donald "Donny" Dicken, 49, Franklin, IN passed away Sunday, May 17, 2020 at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis, IN. He was born March 9, 1971 in Stuttgart, Germany to Donald Ed Dicken and Patricia Diane (Schrotberger) Dicken.
</p>
<p>
He was a 1989 graduate of Franklin Community High School. He had worked in warehouse shipping at Best Buy and Direct Shot and also McDonalds, Burger King and Rally’s.
</p>
<p>
He was a sweet, caring person and a wonderful caregiver to his mother. He was a loving brother, uncle and cousin. He loved animals and his dogs Sadie and Yancy. His favorite past time was playing poker every week with his friends, watching wrestling and having weekly Saturday dinners with his family and especially eating out at Olive Gardens, Red Lobster and eating sushi.

Survivors include his mother Patricia Diane "Pat" (Schrotberger) Dicken of Franklin, IN, sisters Teri Bair, Shelly Yates and Cindy Aldridge all of Franklin, IN and Valerie Kormick of Wyoming, nephews Justin Bailey (Reagan) of Kansas, Jacob Bair (Taylor) of North Carolina, Brady Aldridge of Franklin, IN, Dakota Dayton of Edinburgh, IN, nieces Haley Dicken of Franklin, IN, Allie Aldridge of Franklin, IN, Jasmine Adams of Greenwood, IN and great uncle to Jocelyn, Ava, and Evelyn of Kansas.

He was preceded in death by his father.
</p>

Per Donny’s wishes there will be no services at this time with a celebration of life service forthcoming. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Johnson County 3827 North Graham Road Franklin, IN 46131 or at <a href="http://www.hsjc.org">www.hsjc.org</a>. Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN is handling the arrangements.
