Bob and Julie Oliver will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
The couple were married on June 1, 1970 in Lafayette and were married by J.T. Smithson.
A small family celebration was held in their honor on Memorial Day weekend.
Bob is a veterinarian and former owner of Franklin Animal Clinic and Julie is an equine therapist and owner of Meadowstone Therapeutic Riding Center.
The couple have three children, Bonnie Barker, Jerry Oliver, Sherry Czerwonky, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
