A large fire ripped through a Greenwood lumber warehouse early Friday morning.

Crews responded to a report of a business fire at 84 Lumber, 484 E. Worthsville Road, Greenwood, at 5:20 a.m. Friday. Half of the building was already engulfed in flames when the Greenwood Fire Department arrived, said Chad Tatman, spokesperson.

There were no injuries, and the back half of the building suffered significant fire damage. The rest of the facility has significant smoke and water damage.

Worthsville Road was closed for several hours while crews handled the fire, but it has since been reopened.
