FRANKLIN
Janet Ann Misiniec 60 of Franklin, IN passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 8, 2020 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis, IN. She was born June 13, 1959 in Franklin, IN to Andrew James “Andy” Misiniec Sr. and Grace M. (Blankenship) Misiniec.
She was a 1978 graduate of Franklin Community High School. She was a homemaker and was involved in the family farming operation and especially enjoyed bottle feeding calves. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Franklin where she served as a greeter and served donuts and coffee between Sunday Masses. She enjoyed quilting, cooking and especially baking her chocolate chip cookies.
Survivors include her sister Judy A. Misiniec of Trafalgar, IN, brothers John Misiniec of Franklin, IN and Joe Bill Misiniec of Franklin, IN, sister in law Susie Misiniec of Franklin, IN, nephew Jason A. Misiniec (Heather) of Bicknell, IN, nieces Jennifer Westerfeld (Thad) of Franklin, IN, Jessica Coy (David) of Greenwood, IN and Jill Down (Aaron) of Wyoming, IL, special friends Matt and Kim Davis of Franklin, IN and several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father on October 19, 1994, her mother on March 15, 2014 and her brother Andrew James “Jim” Misiniec Jr. on December 13, 2005.
Father Steven Schaftlein will conduct a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church 114 Lancelot Drive in Franklin, IN. Friends may call Friday, June 12, 2020 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN. COVID 19 restrictions and social distancing is requested by those attending. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Greenwood, IN.
